The day long activities commenced with the flag hoisting at 9am followed by the concentration of the Platinum Jubilee block and Dr. Paulose Mar Gregorious Library and Study Centre along with photo unveiling by His Holiness Moran Mar Baselious Paulose II. The honoring of the former teachers “GURUVANDANAM” and the meeting of former students and teachers were the highlight of the day. In the meeting His Holiness spoke firmly on the history of Rajarshi school and its achievements. His Grace Thomas Mar Athanasius also gave his valuable words on this occasion. It was heart throbbing to see the teachers and the students sharing their experiences and feelings. The teachers were also presented with mementos. After Guruvandanam, the general meeting of RAJAS, the alumni association of RMHSS took place.

The winding up of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations was marked by a grand meeting arranged in the school open auditorium. In the procession which started at 2 pm, the chief guests from different walks of life including metropolitans, Ministers and other dignitaries were ushered to the stage with the accompaniment of band set and chendamelam. The principal Mr. Jacob John welcomed each and everyone to the meeting and the Head Master Mr. K A Sasidharan presented the annual report. A supplement comprising the activities of the school especially in the school platinum jubilee year was also published and circulated. In the meeting presided over by the school manager, His Grace Mathews Mar Thevodosius , the inauguration was done by Sri. K. Babu, honourable minister for Excise and Fisheries department who also submitted the platinum jubilee block. The former manager of this school was given the blessings speech. Honourable minister for food and civil supplies , Sri Anoop Jacob handed over the key of the newly built house by the staff of this school for one of our student.

Sri K N Balagopal M P was entrusted with the submission of Dr. Paulose Mar Gregorious Library and Study Centre. The day also marked the starting of “GURUMAHIMA” project which was inaugurated by Sri V P Sajeendran MLA. Adv. Eldhose Kunnappilly, District Panchayath president inaugurated the language lab.
